PedalPanel Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you buy or run an advertising campaign with PedalPanel. PedalPanel is a trading name of EGV PTY LTD (ABN 84 600 083 761) (“we”, “us”, “our”). “You” means the business or person who creates an account or buys a campaign.

PedalPanel shows advertisers' images on LED screens fitted to delivery e-bike bags that ride around Sydney. By creating an account, buying a campaign or uploading an ad, you agree to these terms, our Content Policy and our Privacy Policy.

If you're agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. Key terms

3. Your account

  • You need an account to buy a campaign. You must be 18 or over and buying for a business or professional purpose.
  • Keep your details accurate and up to date, including your email, which we use for campaign updates.
  • Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at admin@pedalpanel.com if you think it's been misused.
  • One account can run many campaigns. Credit stays with the account that earned it.

4. Buying a campaign

  • Price. Plays are sold in A$10 blocks. Each A$10 buys 600 plays. The minimum campaign is A$10. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
  • Length. You choose how many days your campaign runs. Each day needs at least A$10 of plays, so a A$40 campaign can run for up to 4 days.
  • Screen space. Our screens have limited space each day. If the length you choose doesn't fit, we'll offer the shortest length that delivers all your plays, or the most plays that fit your chosen length. You choose before you pay.
  • Estimates. Lengths, start dates and finish dates are estimates. Your plays may finish a little sooner or later than estimated, depending on how many hours the bikes are on the road.
  • The price covers plays. You're paying for the number of plays you bought, shown in full. We don't sell or promise views, visits, sales or any other result.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

How you pay depends on which checkout is open when you buy:

You'll get a receipt by email for every charge. Each receipt is a tax invoice showing the GST included.

6. Start dates and delivery

  • Pre-launch campaigns can take up to a month to get on the road. We'll email you an estimated start date as soon as we have one, and again if it changes.
  • Standard campaigns go live once we approve your ad, usually within a day of approval, subject to screen space.
  • We deliver every play you paid for. Your campaign keeps running until all its plays have been shown. If the bikes ride less than expected, it may take longer than estimated; if they ride more, it may finish sooner.
  • Where your ad appears. Ads run on bags around Sydney. We don't promise specific suburbs, streets, times of day or particular bikes.
  • Things outside our control. Weather, bike breakdowns, public holidays and similar events can slow delivery. They don't reduce the plays you receive; they may move your finish date.

7. Your ad

  • Format. Ads are still images in a 3:1 shape (our template is 2172 × 724 pixels). Each image wraps the bag: left side, back and right side.
  • We review every ad before it runs. We can approve it, ask for changes, or reject it under our Content Policy. Our decision is final, but we'll always tell you why.
  • Pre-launch campaigns: you can upload your ad any time before your start date. If you haven't, or it isn't approved by then, we'll contact you to sort it out, and may move your start date. If we can't resolve it, we'll refund you in full.
  • Ads we make for you. If we prepare your ad, we'll send it to you to approve before it runs.
  • Your promises. You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything in your ad (images, logos, text, people's likenesses), and that it's lawful, accurate and not misleading.
  • Permission to show it. You give us a non-exclusive licence to display your ad on our screens and to make the copies needed to run it, for as long as your campaign runs. We'll only show your ad as an example on our website or in our marketing if you agree first.

8. Cancellations, refunds and credit

  • Credit is valid for 12 months from the date it's added. It can't be exchanged for cash.
  • Card refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
  • We don't give refunds for a change of mind once your ad has started, except as set out above or as required by law (see section 10).

9. Reporting

  • Each screen keeps a log of every play it shows. Your dashboard shows your plays, added up day by day.
  • Play logs reach your dashboard a day or so after the plays happen. Nothing on the dashboard is live.
  • A play means your ad was on screen. We don't count or estimate how many people saw it.
  • If a play log is delayed or incomplete, we'll correct your dashboard when the data arrives. Our logs are the record of plays delivered.

10. Your rights under Australian law, and our liability

  • Consumer guarantees. Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
  • Limit on our liability. Where the law allows, our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the services again, or paying the cost of having them supplied again, unless the law says otherwise.
  • No indirect losses. Where the law allows, we're not liable for lost profits, lost business or other indirect losses, including if your campaign doesn't bring the results you hoped for.
  • Cap. Where the law allows, our total liability for any campaign is limited to the amount you paid for it.
  • Your responsibility for your ad. You agree to cover our reasonable costs if someone makes a claim against us because of your ad, for example a copyright, trademark or false-advertising claim, to the extent the claim is caused by the content you supplied.

11. Ending, changes and the law that applies

  • Pausing or removing an ad. We can take an ad off the screens if it breaches our Content Policy or the law, or if we receive a valid complaint about it. If we remove an ad that was approved and compliant, you'll get credit or a refund for the plays not shown.
  • Closing accounts. You can close your account any time by emailing us. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Any credit or refund you're owed is handled under section 8.
  • Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. Changes apply to campaigns bought after the change; a campaign already bought runs on the terms that applied when you bought it.
  • Law. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
  • Contact. EGV PTY LTD trading as PedalPanel, admin@pedalpanel.com. We'll send notices about your account and campaigns to the email address on your account.
